SNL Family Kick-Off
Siblings and parents are invited to the first Sunday Night Live of the fall on Sunday, September 9th, 6-8pm.  Please save the date for a night of food, fellowship, and FUN as we kickoff the year!

SNL Pizza
It's that time of the year again for us to not deplete our youth ministry budget, so we try to collect money for the food we provide on Sunday nights! We ask parents to contribute $60/student to help cover food for all SNLs and small group nights for the semester! That’s a steal of a deal!  If you can write a check to "Church of the Redeemer" and put "Youth Ministry food" in the memo, that would help a ton! You can bring it on Sunday mornings over the next two weeks and give it to Valerie or Melissa! If you’d like to donate any extra money to cover kids who are unable to pay, that would be a blessing as well!

No Wednesday Morning Prayer

Last week, we wrapped up our Wednesday Morning Prayer for the summer with a fun day at Hanging Rock! We have had an amazing time getting to spend time with your kids on Wednesday mornings. If you are interested in doing the prayer service as a family, we provided your children with daily readings that span from the last day of camp to Labor Day to allow them to do morning prayer on their own in the Camp Booyah notebook, and we’ve also provided the readings here.

Teen Volunteer Appreciation and Training

For any youth who are interested in serving in our children's ministry and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, there will be a training time on this Sunday August 26 at 10am in the Grove. Find out how your student can help bring scripture to life for students younger than them!

Summer Sundays

We’ll be continuing our series we kicked off earlier this summer on the ten commandments called “Free Me”  we’ll be combining middle and high school for this time called Summer Sundays! Be sure to have your kids to church by 10:00!

Small Group Night Hosts

Fall is almost upon us and in an effort to get ahead of the game we are already looking for hosts for our monthly small group nights. Small group nights are a time once a month in our semester to slow down for our routine SNL and to sit and talk in smaller groups over a meal with your children.

Our small group nights will take place October 7th, November 4th, and December 2nd. Small group nights take place on the first Sunday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Hosting a group doesn’t take much you simply provide a meal and a place for the group to sit and fellowship. If you are interested in hosting you can contact Valerie with the date and the group you would like to host.
