Combined Q and Drive (10:15-11am)
This Sunday morning we are kicking off something new for the middle hour and we’ll be combining middle and high school for Summer Sundays! Drew will kick off a new series called “Free Me” and based on the 10 Commandments. Be sure to have your kids to church by 10:15!
Instead of SNL this Sunday Night...
This Sunday night, May 6th, instead of SNL we would love for all families to join us for a special service in the sanctuary. Bishop Quigg Lawrence will be with us and both Valerie and Melissa will be confirmed in the Anglican church. It will also be an ordination service to the priesthood for Dodd Drake, Hunter Van Wagenan, and Jonathan Munyakazi. Afterwards, the youth we’ll head over to Menchie’s (across from Guilford College) for fro-yo!
Next Sunday we will not have SNL due to Mother’s Day. The final SNL before summer programming begins will be May 20th. During the summer, we meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays instead of Sunday nights.
Graduation Sunday - May 20
On Sunday, May 20th during the 11am service, we will be honoring our high school and college grads. We look forward to a time to celebrate, encourage, and send out our seniors and let them know how grateful we are that they have been a part of our community. If you have a senior or college grad and would like for them to be honored please send their baby pictures to Melissa know as soon as possible.
Welcome Back Justin!
Starting this Sunday, we’re excited to welcome Justin McWilliams back as our summer intern for the first half of the summer! Justin will return to Greenville, NC to do Young Life in July. While he’s with us, he will be living with the Hills.
Board Games
We are looking for board games for the youth rooms. If you have any you can donate, bring them Sunday.
