RYM Summer Kick-Off at Lake Daniel Park
Summer has arrived and we are so excited! We have posted the RYM 2018 Summer Calendar here. We are starting the summer off with fun at Lake Daniel Park at 6:00. We’ll be playing games and having dinner in the park. Parents and families are welcome to stay or to return for pickup at 8pm. Please let Valerie know if you and your family will be staying for the evening so we can be sure to have enough food.
Drivers Needed for Camp Booyah
We are less than 20 days away from Camp Booyah and are in need of parents who are willing to drive to students to and from camp. On Sunday June 17th, we will be leaving the church at 11:45 am for Watermarks Camp which is three hours away, and parents are invited to stay for dinner and to see the first night of camp. There, unfortunately, is not extra housing, but there are hotels and bed and breakfasts nearby if you’d like to stay overnight. On Friday June 22nd, we will also need parents to meet us at Watermarks Camp at 11:45 am to allow students to pack up the cars with the goal of departing at 12:30 pm. If you are available to provide rides either to our from camp contact Valerie.
Help A Student Go To Camp Booyah
We are less than three weeks away from Camp Booyah and we have a lot of students in our youth group who are still needing to raise money for camp! One of the ways we are doing this is by helping students find jobs around the community for the next four Saturdays to allow them to earn money for camp. We have a wide range of ages both boys and girls able to serve so we can do it all from babysitting to heavy yard work.
If you or someone you know is interested in help or have them fill out this form. If you are interested in sponsoring a student to go to camp or providing a scholarship contact Valerie! Be a part of helping a student have the best week of their lives!
We only have 5 spots left for camp, 235 of 240 beds have been filled! If your child or someone you know has yet to sign up for camp! Be sure to do so soon!
Health Forms for Camp Booyah
If your student has yet to fill out a health form for Camp Booyah those are due by June 9th. We will have a table in the middle hour for the next two Sundays collecting these forms and allow those who are interested in sponsoring or hiring a student to do so here as well.

13 - Wednesday Morning Prayer kicks off at 10:00 AM at NGP. At 11:45am we’ll need some parents to help drive kids from church to Jam’s Deli (across from Guilford College) and then we’ll play frisbee in the Guilford College quad. Bring $10 for lunch. Parents pick up at Guilford college at 2 PM.
17 - Leave for Camp Booyah! Students should arrive to church at 10:00 AM to load cars and prepare to leave for camp. We will attend the first part of the 11am service and then eat lunch at 11:30am in the greenhouse and depart by 11:45am.
17-22 - CAMP BOOYAH (Sunday-Friday, returning home around 6pm)
24 - Summer Sundays at 10:15 AM
