RYM Weekly: 4.25.18

Graham's Last SNL

After three years of loving and serving our church and our youth ministry, our dear friend, Graham Monroe, is moving to Atlanta. If you or your student would like to write a note to Graham we will be collecting the notes and compiling them in a journal discreetly during the middle hour and before SNL.

For his last SNL, he will be giving the talk and afterward, would love to go see the new Avengers movie with the high school guys small group. It's showing at 8 pm at Koger Blvd. We will leave early from small groups and will get out from the movie by 11 pm.

50/50 Friend Discount
Between now and May 15th if you sign up a friend for camp not only do you get $50 off of camp, but so does your friend. This only applies to friends (of those Redeemer students who are currently signed up) who sign up on CampBooyah.com between now and May 15.

Here's how:

1. Get your friend to sign up for camp and have them put your name in the form "Who invited you?"
2. Once you and your friend have signed up, contact Valerie and let her know and she will remove $50 off the total of your camp cost!

Graduation Sunday

On Sunday, May 20th during the 11am service, we will be honoring our high school and college grads. We look forward to a time to celebrate, encourage, and send out our seniors and let them know how grateful we are that they have been a part of our community. If you have a senior or college grad and would like for them to be honored please send their baby pictures to Melissa know as soon as possible.

Rising 6th Grade Ice Cream Social

On Sunday, May 20th at 4:30pm we are having a social for the 14 rising 6th graders and their families to meet their future youth leaders, hear about what we do at Redeemer Youth Ministry, and allow students to ask questions and ease any nerves that come with the transition. Following the social, we're inviting those Rising 6th graders to stay for SNL. We would love to have rising 7th and 8th graders and their families serve at the social to welcome the new students and families. If you or your student is interested in serving at the social please contact Valerie

SUNDAY MORNING REMINDER

One of our favorite parts of the week is Sunday mornings where we get to go deep in the scriptures with your middle and high school students in the Q and Drive. We want to remind you that both classes start at 10:15 am so try to arrive at 10:00 am to allow your students time to grab a snack and head back to their classes.

MANTRIP/GLAMPING
We're considering doing the high school adventure trips Wednesday, July 25 - Saturday, July 28th. If those dates work for you or don't work we would love for you to let Melissa know this week.
