DRIVE & THE Q
On Sunday mornings we're currently walking through Genesis with your middle
and high schoolers. This week in DRIVE Nathan Hedman did an incredible job
presenting the doctrine of sin in a crystal clear way. I'm sure Doug West
was also "incredible" (though I didn't personally witness it) as he
taught the middle schoolers about God's plan to redeem the world through the
narrative of Noah. We are using material from The Gospel Project to help form
our Sunday morning catechesis curriculum.
WAHO & SNL
We have WAHO at 4:30 today and each week we're looking at a
gospel account and getting to know Jesus. We're convinced that if kids can get
a clear picture of who Jesus is, they will be drawn to follow him. Today
Melissa Lewkowicz is sharing from John 5.
SNL is this Sunday from 6:30-8:30 and I will be speaking on part 2 of our Love, Sex, and Dating series.
Please remember to send $5 with your kids for pizza, chips, and drinks if you're able. The pizza envelope has been close to empty lately.
Also, encourage your kids to bring friends, their Bibles, and a journal.
Parenting Tip of the Week
Create a space where kids can have conversations about what
they are experiencing online. See what happens when you ask your kids this
question today: “Have you bumped into anything unexpected online lately?”
