Youth Update 10.23.14

Parents of Redeemer Youth,

WAHO

We had a great time at WAHO this week. Thanks to Karen Kirkman for bringing doughnuts to celebrate Jonathan's birthday. We reviewed our last few weeks on the topic of wisdom and focused on the wisdom of repentance, specifically looking at 2 Corinthians 7:8-13. Your kids should have memorized Prov.13:20 and they're also working on Ephesians 5:15-17. Review those verses with them. 

Sunday

This Sunday is a 4th Sunday so we do not have 180. Most of the kids are on the serving schedule for either the 2nd or 4th Sundays. If your child is not yet serving at church and would like to, please let Jessie Meriwether know and she'll plug them in. 

Dan & Ruth

The youth are still helping sponsor Dan & Ruth, which is $76/month. Please encourage your kids to earn money throughout the month to donate to Dan & Ruth. They can bring it on Sundays or Wednesdays. 

Lecrae

if your child wants to attend the Lecrae concert on November 20th please bring $25 this Sunday. I will be placing our final ticket order on Monday. Checks can be made payable to Church of the Redeemer.
