As summer quickly approaches we find ourselves less than 200 days away from Camp Booyah. As a youth ministry, we are so amazed at how the Lord has revealed Himself to us not only in the students who have encountered the Lord at camp but the growth and demand we have seen in less than four years since Camp Booyah began.
It is our hope that as a youth group this summer that we would be able to take 75 kids to camp from our church. The amazing new facilities where will be having Camp Booyah not only allow more space, with more activities (link video from camp here), but also comes at a higher cost than past years. We as a staff do not take lightly the increased cost especially for those who are sending multiple children to camp this year.
We hope that through fundraising efforts over the next six months that we will see the Lord move mightily as we can support every kid who longs to go to Camp Booyah.
We will be doing this in many ways that are listed below. If you are interested in getting your student involved in these projects, would like to “Hire-A-Student,” have other ideas for fundraising or would simply like to provide a scholarship for a kid to go to camp. We would love for you to contact Valerie Sagero via email vsagero12@gmail.com or phone at (336) 447-8767
