SNL
We had an awesome time at SNL this past weekend at our Bonfires & Blankets night. It was chilly but Josh Hawkins did an amazing job talking about how we are the Branch, that must become dependent on the true Vine, of Christ alone. Our verse this week is found in John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
We will NOT have SNL this coming week, because we know we will all be enjoying some needed family time over the holiday. Please let us know if there are ways we can be praying for you over the next week!
For King & Country / Casting Crowns Concert
Take an opportunity to serve with Compassion and get to go to an awesome concert for free! On Thursday Dec. 14, For King & Country and Casting Crowns will be in concert in the Triad, and they need about 100 volunteers! You would be helping to hand out Compassion packets for people interested in sponsoring a Compassion Child, but will also be able to enjoy being at the show! Sign up here!
Operation Christmas Child
December 2, we are taking a trip to Charlotte to help at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center with packing shoeboxes. If you're interested in driving and being a part of this amazing opportunity, let us know!
WHEN: June 17-22, 2018 (Sunday afternoon-Friday afternoon)

COST: $399 (early sign-up rate) $429 (after March 1)
WHO: Rising 6th graders- graduated Seniors.
SIGN-UP: Sign-ups are on a "first-come, first served" basis. We 250 spots this year, 100 more than last summer, but we're also adding additional churches, so sign up now! Camp Booyah is a great Christmas gift for kids - we will have stocking stuffer postcards for you!
