Compassion Experience
A HUGE thank you to all those who participated in The Compassion Experience! We had several youth who came out and volunteered, and some who have committed to sponsoring their own Compassion child! All in all, Redeemer sponsored over 100 children this weekend! Truly grateful for all God is doing in our own hearts and around the world!
Booyah at the Barn is THIS Sunday at New Garden Park! Woohooo! If you haven't signed up to bring anything yet, here's our sign up genius link. We also need lots of folks to plan to stay after church this Sunday to help set up and turn the Greenhouse into our Barn! We will have pizza lunch for all those helping set-up, so let Melissa know if you (and your fam) can stay and help. The event is $10 and lasts from 3-6:30. More details here. Also, there will be Booyah at the Barn T-shirts for sale for an additional $10...get 'em while you can!
SNL Recap
Team Taco (literally) creamed Team Burger in our Dueling Unicorns Shaving Cream War. Valerie spoke on what it means to be God's son and daughter. Here's the memory verse for the next 2 weeks!
"Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and trembling with fear told him the whole truth. He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering'." Mark 5:33-34

Servant Team Needs
We would love to have more youth serving in our worship services! If your child is interested in a particular area, there would be training offered for any of the positions. Here are a few jobs that we have available:
For those comfortable in front of people:
- Welcome Team (welcomes everyone into church; makes visitors feel welcomed)
- Scripture Reader (reads the Old and New Testament scriptures from the pulpit)
- Prayers of the People (leads Prayers of the People)
- Chalice bearer (high school only; would serve the wine during Communion)
For those who prefer behind-the-scenes ministry:
- Presentation - (sitting in the back and running the media software for songs, prayers, etc.)
- Sound - (make it possible for every moment of the worship to be heard)
Contact Melissa if you are interested!
Camp Booyah Registration
I can't believe it's already time to start talking about this, but Y'ALL...registration opens after Booyah at the Barn at CampBooyah.com! Camp will be a full day longer this year and at a larger camp with much more to offer, so the cost has slightly increased. The early-bird rate is $399. You can sign up and hold your spot with a $99 deposit. The late sign-up rate (after March 1, 2018) will be $429. Camp will be for any rising 6th graders-12th graders, and we have plenty of space to invite your friends! We anticipate having 225 campers this year, compared to 150 last year.
