Need Feedback for 2018 Camp Week

Parents,

We are already working towards finding a bigger camp for Camp Booyah in the summer of 2018. I’ve talked with tons of camps and it is close to impossible to find a July opening at a good camp, but I don't want to go in August because of sports and July is usually the best for summer scheduling. 

I've talked with Watermarks Camp (south of Charlottesville, VA) and they have an opening July 1-6, 2018. I know this week isn’t ideal because of July 4th week, but July 4th is on a Wednesday in 2018, so it's not over a weekend.

I'd love your feedback. Is that a deal breaker? If we know 18 months ahead of time, can families change the schedule? 

Watermarks camp seems like a HUGE upgrade from Cedar Grove and kids would get an extra day at camp. It would be Sunday- Friday, instead of Sunday-Thursday. Also, it would be fun to be at camp over July 4th and do a big blowout USA party that night. It’s a 3-hour drive for us, but I think it would be a strategic move for us to be able to bring in some churches in our diocese from VA and the DC area too.
