We have a Youth & Families Work Day and lunch on Saturday, Dec. 10th from 9am-12pm at New Garden. We're going to work on the new building and then serve lunch to the neighbors near our new church facility.
The Kirkman family has also reserved 20 spots for that same day to help pack shoeboxes in Charlotte for Operation Christmas Child from 2pm-6pm.
So your family has two great opportunities to serve on that Saturday, and you potentially could do both, but that would make for a LONG day!
Operation Christmas Child
To volunteer for OPC you have to be at least 13 years old. The Kirkmans need a head count of who is going by Dec. 5th. Let Jonathan Kirkman know if your family wants to go by emailing him here.
Also, if anyone wants to fill a shoebox to send, the Kirkmans will collect them at church on Sunday, Dec. 4th.
