This summer, our middle and high schoolers will have the opportunity to spend 77 days in prayer. We designed a prayer book specifically for our teenagers and have titled it "The Aim of My Heart." You can buy it on Amazon here for $5.99 or at any youth event or church service for $5. Most of you picked up your copy at church today and the 77 days kick off tomorrow. Parents are also encouraged to participate with your teenagers in using the prayer book this summer.
Monday Morning Prayer starts TOMORROW
Every Monday this summer (except July 4th), we are having a morning prayer service in my basement for high schoolers. It will run from 10:30-11:45 and be followed by going out to lunch. Tomorrow we're eating at Barberitos on Spring Garden from 12-1pm. Please send $ for lunch and let me know if you need help with rides.
Summer Wednesday Kickoff Cookout
This Wednesday from 6-9pm we're hosting a summer kickoff cookout at our home (1210 Alderman Dr) for middle and high schoolers. Please send a side item or dessert with your child and we'll provide the burgers, dogs and drinks.
Camp Booyah Final Payments
Most of you have paid the deposit of $150 for camp. The total cost is $339 and the remaining $189 is due by July 1, at the very latest. It would help if you could bring it to church by Sunday, June 26th or mail it to Church of the Redeemer, PO Box 4764, Greensboro, NC 27404-4764. Please include your campers name and "camp booyah" in the memo of the check, made payable to "Church of the Redeemer."
