Last Call For Outcry Concert
We had planned to go on July 27th as a youth group to a concert featuring the following bands: Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, Tripp Lee, David Crowder, Lauren Daigle, and DJ Promote. Tickets are $25. Only one person has contacted me about it so far so I'm thinking we will cancel the event because we need 15 for a group rate. If you would like your middle or high schooler to still go, let me know asap. Parents are invited as well, if we do go we'll need a few brave souls to help 'chaperone.'
Youth Ministry 101
In August I'm teaching a 4-week class for anyone interested in learning how to connect and minister to teenagers. It will meet from 12:00-1:15pm (with lunch) in room 111 at Western High School following the Sunday morning service. Both parents and youth volunteers are invited to attend but the class will be geared to prepare our youth leaders for the fall.
