City Lake Park Waterslides On Monday

On Monday, June 28th, our youth are enjoying a day in the sun at City Lake Park Waterslides in High Point. It costs $5/person. We're meeting at my house (1210 Alderman Dr.) at 11am to carpool and returning to my house around 3:30pm. Feel free to pack a lunch or bring $ to buy lunch there. We need a few parents to drive so let me know if you're able to come along. Siblings are invited as well. RSVP to Drew so we know how many to plan for. If the weather is bad on Monday we'll reschedule.

Youth Summer Schedule

Menchies/FrisGolf/JAM's 
This Wednesday is our first 'summer' youth activity. I know some folks are still in school so we're starting at 4pm to accommodate for that. I'm picking up Newcomer's kids but it would help me if parents can bring kids from other schools to Menchie's across from Guilford College. We'll hang there until 4:30 and then walk over to the Guilford College Frisbee golf course and play it until 6pm. We'll meet at JAM's Deli at 6ish and are inviting families to join us there for dinner.

Youth Ministry 101
In August I am going to do a 4-week class for anyone interested in learning how to connect and minister to teenagers. It will meet from 12:10-1:10pm (with lunch) in room 111 at Western High School following the Sunday morning service. Both parents and youth volunteers are invited to attend but the class will be geared to prepare our youth leaders for the fall. If you're interested in being a part of our youth ministry team, sign up here.

Outcry Concert
On July 27th we're going to a concert featuring the following bands: Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, Tripp Lee, David Crowder, Lauren Daigle, and DJ Promote. Tickets are $25. If you would like your middle or high schooler to go, please get me a check for $25 written to Church of the Redeemer by June 28th. Tickets are limited. Parents are invited as well! We'll need a few brave souls to help 'chaperone.' Let me know! 

Rising 6th Graders
We are excited to invite our rising 6th graders into the youth ministry starting with 180 on June 21st! 

High School
Starting in September we will begin a new Sunday morning (1st, 3rd, 5th) and Sunday night (every other) discipleship environment just for High Schoolers.
